Galway, Ireland is the major city in one of the two areas I consider to be my “ancestral homelands” (the other being the area around Naples, Italy), and it was a pleasure to visit. During what passes for a summer day there, I visited the harbor and beach in cool, breezy weather that changed from showery to cloudy to sunny multiple times. During a brief sunny spell, I captured an image that seemed almost Caribbean!
