The latest in our series of winter-themed pieces is Mountain Pass Ice Storm in Qinghai. In China, on a train from Shanghai to Lhasa, we began a steep climb in the mountains of Qinghai. We encountered an ice storm that turned the adjacent highway into a parking lot.
