As I was Crossing Columbus Avenue at Dusk on a warm evening at the end of October, the New York City sky seemed to radiate heat. I had to capture this image quickly, for although I was crossing with the light, fire trucks were barreling down the avenue with sirens blaring, heading towards a fire.
