To celebrate the first full day of spring, we present the first of two works featuring cherry blossoms in full bloom. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Enjoying a bit of the luck of the Irish (I’m half Irish), I stumbled across and tracked a rainbow while walking around Dublin at the end of a misty Irish day. While on a bike tour of the Mosel River wine country, I paused to enjoy the view of the river, the town of Oberfell, the vineyards mid-way up the steep hill above, and the ruins of the Thurant Castle crowning the hilltop.
