As I cycled through the breathtaking Mosel River Valley, I paused to take in this tranquil scene—a perfect reflection of the region’s charm. The town of Oberfell sits along a bend in the river, surrounded by lush vineyards that have produced world-class Rieslings for centuries. Above, the ruins of Thurant Castle stand as a silent sentinel over the landscape, a reminder of the valley’s rich history. This image captures the essence of Germany’s famed wine country—a place where nature, tradition, and history intertwine.
