Samarkand is one of the great cities of the ancient world – even the name “Samarkand” evokes a sense of enchantment and wonder. During an excursion along the ancient Silk Road route through Uzbekistan, the Registan of Samarkand was among the most resplendent architectural masterpieces that I encountered. This photograph features the Ulugh Beg Madrasah, one of three parts of the Registan complex.
The prices listed include delivery by USPS or UPS ground. Each image in the edition is signed and numbered on the rear of the print, with the print number in the edition followed by the total size of the edition (25).
